Tangrams

Nicholas likes puzzles and we've been doing a lot of them during Swine Break '09. Nicholas especially loves his tangram puzzles. His set comes with lots of cards with outlines of a picture and he has to use various geometric shapes to fill in the pictures. Here he is working on a soccer player.

Tangrams are great for getting their little brains working and building problem solving skills. Nicholas loves working them and he can do them rather quickly. But what really impressed me today was when he decided that he was bored with the cards that came with his kit. He said he wanted to make his own tangram and he made a crab! Cool!
