Kids Country Playground in Coppell

We had fun at Kids Country playground in Coppell. We love this playground because it is all wooden and looks just like a fort or castle. There are lots of interactive activities as well as several playground pieces that you don't see at most playgrounds.

Nicholas quickly found another little boy and they ran around the whole time playing Star Wars or dragon fighters or some kind of boy game like that.

So I spent some time climbing around and playing with Rachel. It's been a while since we've been here so she had a great time exploring up and down and all around the twists and turns.

We took turns driving the race car to the finish line.

Then she said, "Mommy, I wanna swing!" So we got on the swings. She's working on learning how to pump her legs to swing higher but she doesn't quite have the rhythm down yet. It's still great fun though.

This shirt seemed only an itsy bitsy too short for her this morning when she got dressed. However, with her arms up in this picture, her tummy is really peeking out. What's amazing is that she is only 2 1/2 years old and this shirt is for a 3 year old but it's too small. It's crazy but my 2 year old often wears size 4 clothes!

Rachel had fun playing with some of the other interactive games around the playground such as tic-tac-toe and these musical chimes.

There is also a huge sandbox here and it is such a miracle that my kids didn't seem to notice it on this trip because they always love to jump in a big sandbox.

Kids Country playground is located at 260 East Parkway Boulevard in Coppell inside the Andrew Brown Park East. There is lots of shade in the park so it is a nice place to play in the summer. There are picnic tables, restrooms, lots of slides, tunnels, and even a duck pond next to it so be sure to bring some bread to share!
