In Search of Bugs and Fossils

Nicholas and I had some good bug hunting explorations this week. We found a few cool critters but I think it's been too hot for even the bugs to be out!



Nicholas loves to turn over bricks in search of bugs and worms, sometimes while wearing his Spiderman mask...



Then he decided to do a little fossil digging in my flower bed with his chisel and hammer.



We didn't have a lot of success with the bug hunt or the fossil dig but we did have a lot of fun playing in the dirt and enjoying the outdoors...and that's all that really matters.
