Old Town Aquatic Park in Lewisville

Old Town Aquatic Park is located at 535 W. College Street, three blocks east of the I-35E access road. It features a double-loop slide, two leisure pool areas with play features, three spraygrounds, a small lazy river, a playground and a concession area.

One of the spraygrounds has big buckets overhead that fill with water and then dump all the water on your head. Rachel runs for her life when she sees them starting to tip over.

There is a nice size pool area with a lazy river that pushes you along. And of course, there's the waterslide.

My son spends most of his time here on the waterslide.

Rachel prefers the spraygrounds though.

Jumping through the sprays!

My children always love to try to plug up or block the sprays from shooting the they naturally want to spray. It's just fun to mess with water like that.

There is also a fun playground area with a beach entry for little ones to hang out in, a small climbing area with slide and tons of things that will spray you will water.

My little fish love it here!

My kids are still young enough to have fun at a small water park like this which saves on the stress and expense of trekking out to one of the big water parks in the area. Admission at the gate is $3. Resident admission cost is $2 (proof of residency required), and twilight admission (7-8 p.m.) is $2. Children under 3 are admitted free. The facility is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 1-6 p.m. Saturday and 2-6 p.m. Sunday. It is closed on Thursdays.
