Stuart has created some really cool pictures with glow sticks in the dark. Here are some of his latest creations with the assistance of his little helper.
It's the shutter speed setting that allows you to create the blur of light seen in those images. A shutter speed of 1 to 2 seconds is probably what I used. However, "bulb" mode is the term used to describe the ability to keep the shutter open for as long as you want. Since our camera can have a shutter speed as slow as 30 seconds, I didn't need to use bulb mode for those images.
