Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Nicholas has occasionally talked about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's kind of funny because I don't think he's ever seen the show so he's just learned about this from other children at school. That's how he got so into Star Wars too.

He has a Ninja Turtle costume and the other day he showed me how they fight the bad guys. Check this out! Maybe I should enroll him in a martial arts class...



Last week we were at a birthday party for one of Nicholas' classmates. The party was at Pump It Up which has bunches of inflatable bounce houses and obstacle courses. Nicholas just loves playing there.

As the children sat down for cake, Nicholas and three other boys starting talking about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Apparently the four of them pretend to be Ninja Turtles while on the playground at recess. They like to do a cheer in which they all put their hands in the middle and they shout "Ninja Turtles!" I guess the real Ninja Turtles might do that on the show??? I really don't know but it was cute!



We had over one of the other Ninja Turtles for a play date. Of course, the other little boy was excited to try on Nicholas' Ninja Turtle costume. Nicholas didn't mind. He just dressed up like Darth Vader instead.
