She quickly put together 24 piece puzzles when she was two so for her 3rd birthday we got her a 60 piece puzzle. She pulled it out this morning and started working on it at the table while I worked with Nicholas on his school work.
There were many more pieces than she was used to so I talked to her about sorting out the corner and edge pieces first and helped her understand how to put those together to make the outer edge.
But she really put the whole thing together and was so proud of her accomplishment!
I think 60 piece puzzles are a good number for her now but I think we'll have to go bigger by the time her 4th birthday rolls around.
