As much as I wanted to go to the game, I couldn't justify the cost of childcare, parking, and game tickets so I had to settle for watching it at home. But all day long we cheered on the Tigers and even went to the local high school where the LSU Band was practicing. Of course, we had on our LSU garb and got out our own little Mike the Tiger. Grandmama O gave Mike to Nicholas many years ago and he always comes out at game time to play the LSU Fight Song for us. Rachel carried him around with her most of the day and liked when he bumped her as he danced around the floor.
