Color Me Mine Christmas Ornaments

We spent some time with friends painting ceramic Christmas ornaments at Color Me Mine.  This was scheduled as a field trip through the Coppell Home School Association. Each child got to choose 2 ornaments to paint and the fee was only $10.  This is a great price because it covers the ornaments and the studio fee!

Then they gathered with their friends around the tables.  Each table has plenty of paint brushes and ceramic paints.

Rachel and her friend quietly chatted while they painted their ornaments and experimented with the different colors of paint.

Rachel painted a snowflake and an angel.

The boys at Nicholas' table were a bit sillier (and louder).

Nicholas painted a cross and a snowflake.

Once they finished painting, we left the ornaments there.  Color Me Mine with then coat them with a glaze and fire them in their kiln.  We can pick them up in a week or so.  I love having these ornaments that the kids make.  They are sweet keepsakes to have over the years.
